The Panasonic FZ1000 and TZ70 compared at their sizes
What size does matter ?
Really ?
Having been a mountainbiker for some 15 years I always was in need for a good quality camera that was compact, lightweight
and with an as low as possible F-figure (aperture).
I therefore owned the Nikon P60, the Panasonic LF1 and finally the Kamera Panasonic TZ70.
However, the F-figure of a camera is not a fixed number but very much depending on the sensor size.
The smaller the sensor the more worse that figure really is.
I therefore also always owned a bigger camera.
And now, from spring 2018 on, I also own the Panasonic FZ1000.
Both Cameras Are Great Cameras !
Just read my reviews of the
FZ1000 🖱️
and
TZ70 🖱️.
Panasonic has a simple naming system for there families of cameras.
FZ means Full (-size camera) Zoom and TZ means Traveller (-size camera) Zoom.
And Zoom always means ZOOM !
And Panasonic uses Leica lenses in there FZ series !
Where Leica itself also markets the same FZ cameras, so you just know their are Good !
Depending on your plan of the day you take the one or the other.
That's all it takes.
Go out.
Return.
With superb pictures that is !
Pictures are Memories, so to have them you should start early to create them !
Cameras in their off mode.
Cameras in their on mode.
Cameras in their full zoom mode.
The displays.
These pictures show you how the FZ1000 and TZ70 compare to sizes.
The only thing equal is the size of there display.
And the joy they both bring you !
The FZ1000 has great specs and although looking huge it is no hazzle to carry it all day long.
The TZ70 looks tiny but has great specs too, although not really as good.
They each have their pro's and con's so that's why you should have them both !
Tip : you can combine both the best plus the worst specs of the FZ1000 and the TZ70 by bying the TZ100.
